Description
The Case Trapper is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: a classic clippoint and a traditional speypoint. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened they are kept in place by a slipjoint.
Technical Description
This Trapper is a part of the Clover Bone Family. The four-leaf clover has been a symbol of good fortune for centuries.
This knife is constructed with Case Tru-Sharp™ stainless steel which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance.
Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
- The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characteristic of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened super sharp very quickly.
Clover Green Bone handle
- The handle is made from Clover Green Bone. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture. Case enhanced the material with a ‘sawcut jig’ texture. As such it looks like it has been cut with a coarse circular saw. A truly classic handle material that radiates class and elegance. Perfectly matching the Case knives.
